Nasarawa State government has restated its commitment to full deployment of Information Communication Technology (ICT) in governance to ensure a robust digital economy.
Mr Yakubu Lawal, the state’s Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, stated this on Friday in Lafia, when he received a team from the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).
The team also included officials of the Federal Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy (FMCDE).
Lawal said that the state government had embarked on the training of various cadres of the workforce to be ICT compliant, as part of its efforts to achieving the goal of e-governance.
According to him, the state government is also partnering some international organizations on digital economy and other ICT-related programmes.
